Maybe the Jump Cuts aren’t so Bad
So, yes, like most American with too much time on her hands, I went poking around YouTube to see if there was anything Kville-esque out and about yet. Maybe someone out there is posting some good scenes from the show or funny moments or snappy lines. No, but someone without any editing knowledge uploading this ditty.
Now, this is a perfect example of why KVille relies on jump cuts to make it exciting.
Just kidding. Every film or TV shoot is this boring.
And it is really cool that KVille shoots on location. I can’t stand seeing the backlot at Universal on every channel.
And surprisingly, I missed Watching KVille tonight. It’s not just because I have to write about it, but it is quickly becoming the Monday night kickoff for my television viewing pleasure. I watched the pilot for NBC’s Chuck, but even though Chuck reminds me of an older Seth Cohen (Yes, I miss The OC, maybe I’ll start a blog about The OC Withdrawal), I just don’t find myself tuning into Chuck at 8pm. So, I look forward to KVille, as it means I get to leave my desk. And because KVille is growing on me like mold after a flood.
Besides, I did tune into FOX around 9:30 and guess what was on…Prison Break. I haven’t watched since the season premiere, and for some reason, there was another one of those wacky “fight-to-the-death” scenes. And I though I had missed something. At least last season there was movement. This season is so stagnant, and I am saying that after watching 1.3 episodes.
Dammit, there had better be a KVille next week. I know I will make some people angry by saying this, but it is better than Prison Break. Cancel that show, FOX, and let KVille grow. I mean House sucked when it started, and so did Bones, but they are much better now. Sometimes you have to nurture a show to see results. I mean, even the first season of The Simpsons wasn’t that good.
KVille, Anthony Anderson, Prison Break, FOX, Chuck, The OC
